1. Let the Mage first be expert in his use of raising and directing energy, as well as Dispel Magic and Change Self.
  2. He shall then proceed to construct about himself an aura of nonmagic as in Dispel Magic.
  3. He shall then proceed to enflame this area of nonmagic as greatly as possible.
  4. This spell may be maintained as long as the Mage wishes, being actually an active writing of nonmagic rather than an erasure of magic. Thus the spell effect is a positive creation and must be unmade rather than outlasted.
  5. Caution in the use of this spell is of course recommended.
