Let the Mage first be proficient with Detect Magic and Erase, and with raising and directing energy.
Before operating, let the Mage also confirm with Detect Magic the item, person or place which he wishes to cleanse of magic.
As in Erase, let the Mage proceed to send forth a current of his own magical essence as a gust of wind, blowing away any remaining trace of differentiated energy of any kind. He may also sprinkle salt upon it at this time to enhance the effect.
Let the Mage then begin to draw the energy from the target which he wishes to cleanse, sucking it completely clear of any residual magical energies.
This spell can be made more effective by Writing a Nothingness or neutral space upon the target once it has been cleansed.
