1. Let the Mage first be proficient in the use of ESP.
  2. He shall then select his victim.
  3. Let him proceed to imagine a spot on his victim's skin, and focus all his attention upon that one spot to the exclusion of all else.
  4. When he has achieved concentration upon this spot, let him communicate same to his victim via ESP or a similar mechanism.
  5. When a channel is opened, let him concentrate more fully on that area of skin while maintaining minimal contact with his victim.
