 The Chontal Indians use an herb called "Calea Zacatechichi" for this purpose, and they drink it in tea. I am unsure of its legality, and i have never tried it. The Magic Redneck uses a tallboy. Go figure...i burn mugwort. Fill your chalice with clear water, gazing into it for a few minutes before sleep. Rituals or other devices of gnosis precede the gazing, after which some repesentation of the target is cast into the chalice and left there while you sleep. For reception of messages of an unknown sort (such as those one might arrange to receive in an experiment conducted in connection with the previous exercise), leave the chalice outside overnight.
