I use to use both the tarot cards and regular playing cards at the same time to do divinations.
For instance, I would shuffle the cards and visualize myself. Then I would ask the cards "What is instored for me for today?". Then I would flip a tarot card to reveal the answer. Then IF I had more questions about it, let's say, I will find love today is what the tarot told me, and I wanted to know if I should wear the color red for this encounter, I would then go to the regular playing cards and ask a yes and no question..such as "Should I wear red for this encounter?". If I flipped over a red card, that'll mean "yes", if I flipped over a black card, that'll mean "no".
Quite simple actually.
