Three Books of Occult Philosophy... |
It's a great undiluted source material from a Renaissance master. I turn to it often for spellwork or just to page through to get ideas. Even with close to 800 pages, I can sit down and ALWAYS learn something new or something I overlooked. It was well
worth the investment ~ Jenzimatic Also recommended by Ludvig Prinn |
An Encyclopedia of Claims, Frauds, and... |
I include this because I think every successful mage needs to have a healthy dose of skepticism. I don't always agree with Randi's thoughts, but I appreciate them. In fact, sometimes because of my disagreement with
his findings, I'm compelled to do my own research. This is one of the reasons he's on my reading list. He's got wit and humor and a fascinating skeptical way of looking at the occult world. We need skeptics. Too many people are out there buying into every silly idea coming down the pike. ~ Jenzimatic |

Pythagoras' Trousers : God, Physics, and... |
A wonderful look at the history of physics and its relationship with spirituality and the occult. Facinating! ~ Tau |
Kybalion : A Study of the Hermetic... |
A profound little book of Hermetic Philosophy. The principles within its pages can enhance any applied magical working. Read it again and again. ~ Tau |
Satanic Bible |
A great angst filled fun book. Mainly I enjoyed it for the cynical outlook of LaVey. It's great for inspiring the Magician to rely on their Will rather than any miracles granted from a fanciful God. ~ El Santo Diablo |
