It's a great undiluted source material from a Renaissance master. I turn to it often for spellwork or just to page through to get ideas. Even with close to 800 pages, I can sit down and ALWAYS learn something new or something I overlooked. It was well
worth the investment

I include this because I think every successful mage needs to have a healthy dose of skepticism. I don't always agree with Randi's thoughts, but I appreciate them. In fact, sometimes because of my disagreement with
his findings, I'm compelled to do my own research. This is one of the reasons he's on my reading list. He's got wit and humor and a fascinating skeptical way of looking at the occult world. We need skeptics. Too many people are out there buying into every silly idea coming down the pike.
